I’ve been working hard on building my morning routine back into my life. So far, I’ve been pretty consistent (about 5 out of 7 days a week) and my mornings have started to become much more productive.
Here’s how my morning starts
I don’t use an alarm, instead my daughter Emma wakes me up between 5:30 and 6:30 each day. Shortly after we walk outside for a few seconds to get some fresh air and then we go to the bathroom. Within about 15 minutes of waking up I start making breakfast for us.
Every morning we have about 2-4oz of steak, about half a tablespoon of steak sauce, and a smoothie bowl that includes raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, bananas, granola, coconut shavings, chia seeds, and local honey. I also make a small smoothie for Joelle.
Shortly after I drink 1 serving of Dymatized Isolate 100 Frudge Brownie and 2 servings of Amino Energy Fruit Fusion.
Once we’re done eating I take a shower, shave, brush my teeth, and get dressed.
By doing this exact routine everyday I’m consistent in eating healthy, while also ensuring Joelle and Emma do too.
It keeps me focused and helps me build consistency for other habits to start forming.
Last but not least, on the weekdays I start work at 9am and make sure to take a minimum of a 5 minute break roughly every hour.
