I’m taking a lot of different steps towards building consistency throughout my life again. It’s challenging but the rewards will be worth it.
To start, my mornings are back to where I’m having a set routine.
I’ve started to wake up between 5:30-6:00am almost every day with my daughter, Emma. I use this time to give Joelle a chance to workout, read, work, etc. before I start working. I make a consistent breakfast (steak and a smoothie bowl), have my protein, aminos, vitamins, and then I get ready for work at about 8:25-8:30am.
My goal is to sit at my desk by 8:50, that way I can prep/meditate prior to going full steam ahead at work.
Even getting into the work routine has been a huge challenge this year (I took a break in January until about a month ago) but thanks to my new assistant, Josh Farley, I’ve been able to consistently work about 4-6 hours a day for the past 2 weeks. It’s a huge change from the past where I’d work from when I woke up to when I went to bed, with constant breaks throughout the day. But it feels a lot better.
I want to ensure that I use this opportunity to build consistency in my work, relationship, and personal life.
Times up.
